Hours & Prices
The MOST is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Starting Oct. 6, we will stay open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays with a special price: From 3 to 8 p.m., exhibit admission is only $6 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.
There is a $5 surcharge, in addition to general admission, for adults to tour Nature’s Machines: Biomechanics. For members, children 2-17 are free but must be accompanied by an adult. For nonmembers, children 2-11 are free but also must be accompanied by an adult. Seniors 65 and older are not subject to the surcharge.
We are also open on national holidays and local school vacations. The MOST is open on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day.
The MOST is closed on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
With proper identification, current New York State teachers, all active duty military, and military veterans can tour the MOST’s exhibits for free.
People who are members of science museums affiliated with the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) can tour our exhibits for free. The ASTC website lists museums that participate in the program, as well as any restrictions.

Nonmembers are charged the children’s price for ages 2 through 11. Seniors are visitors age 65 and older.
