The Family Place is an area for tending to the needs of babies and young children. All parents and guardians are welcome to use the quiet space for necessary parental duties. Amenities include rocking chairs, bottle warmer, changing table, and a toddler table with books.
Sensory Friendly Time offers a designated quiet area in the Cosmic Connections exhibit where participants can relax, regroup and enjoy sensory friendly activities. The Museum turns down the noise, turns off flashing lights, shuts off the air compressors, and turns on the house lights so people with sensory processing challenges can enjoy the MOST.
Sensory friendly kits are available to sign out from the Science Shop at your convenience. Kits contain a variety of items to help make your MOST experience great!
Members of science museums affiliated with the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) can tour MOST exhibits for free. The ASTC website lists museums that participate in the program, as well as any restrictions.
