Field Trips & Classroom Visits 

Students and other visitors in groups of 10 or more can experience the MOST by visiting the museum for exhibit exploration and educational programs, or through a visit directly to your classroom or event! Explore our offerings and select the options that best fit your curriculum needs and budget.  

Field Trips

Available 7 days a week, field trips and group visits include full exhibit access, including the popular Science Playhouse and STEAM Cafe eating area.

National Grid ExploraDome Shows—Put the “A” in STEAM and create an Arts in Education experience for your students!

  • $5 per person  
  • Approximately 20-30 minutes 

Group Workshops—Hands-on educational activities delivered in the museum for groups of up to 25 students.

Discovery Sessions at Your School

If a field trip to the museum isn’t an option, give your students the excitement and fun of experiential learning with a MOST science educator right in your own school! The museum comes to you with one of our engaging in-school Discovery Sessions that can be performed in a classroom or auditorium.

  • $250 per session plus standard mileage rate for travel from the MOST to your location
  • Approximately 40 minutes per session

Booth/tabling with hands-on activities at events is also available for $50 per hour plus standard mileage rate for travel from the MOST to your location.

Water Environments Activity

Teachers! Order a FREE Water Environments Kit for your students in grades 3–5, featuring content from our partner, Onondaga County Department of Water Environment Protection! Kits include one MOST admission pass (for raffle/incentive), water treatment activity with water test strips, flood control activity, exploring water and weather activity, WEP by the numbers poster for your classroom.
