M&T Bank Presents: Dinomania

It’s BIGGER. It’s better. They’re back! COMING SOON and back by popular demand, the MOST welcomes Syracuse’s premier dinosaur exhibit, M&T Bank presents: Dinomania! The 5,500 square foot visiting exhibit is a hit with families and kids of all ages and is on display through Monday, January 21, 2019!

Experience amazingly lifelike dinosaurs as you travel back in time to the age of the dinosaurs with the most immersive dinosaur experience yet. The moving lifelike dinosaurs were created with guidance from paleontologists to be as scientifically accurate as possible and are portrayed in scenes that depict what life was like on Earth during the age of the dinosaurs more than 65 million years ago.

In one exhibit scene, two Pachycephalosaurs square off in a head-butting show of dominance. Not far away, a Maiasaura mother tends to a nest of hatchlings and juveniles similar to the way modern birds behave today. Another setting showcases an Albertosaurus, a close relative of the Tyrannosaurus rex!

The Dinomania exhibit will additionally feature: an interactive remote-control dinosaur to explain the technology behind the exhibit’s dinosaurs, a dino dig pit to discover fossils, a fossil rubbing station, and more. Accompanied by hands-on activities from MOST Science Educators, Dinomania will excite visitors of all ages while teaching about dinosaurs and Earth as it existed millions of years ago during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

The 2018 Dinomania exhibit is set to be the MOST’s best display of dinosaur immersion yet with an experience that transports visitors into one of the most exciting eras of the past.
