2018 SUMMER CAMPS
This summer, the MOST will offer 3 week-long camps that introduce concepts and skills that build to a final event on the last day of camp. The MOST will also offer 4 one-day camps during Fourth of July week. All camps are for children ages 6-12, and are limited to 20 campers per session. Week-long and day camps will run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and campers are required to bring a lunch.
Cost: Each week-long camp is $250 for members and $275 for nonmembers
- Each week-long camp runs Monday through Friday.
- MOST camps are conducted by the Museum’s Education department.
- No before or after camp care available.
- A minimum number of campers is required to run each camp. If a camp is cancelled due to lack of registration, a refund will be provided.
MISSION TO MARS SPACE CAMP
July 23 – 27, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
What does it take to be an astronaut? Discover what it takes to launch a shuttle, explore a planet, and work as a team! This week of astrophysics and astronomy all leads up to the main event: a live simulated space mission.
MYSTERY AT THE MOST FORENSIC SCIENCE CAMP
July 30 – August 3, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
There’s been a crime at the MOST! Campers will dust for prints, analyze DNA, examine specimens through a microscope, and more. Then, the last day will feature a challenge where campers can test their new skills: a whole new crime scene to analyze!
August 6 – 10, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Volcanoes, tornadoes, and hurricanes – oh my! Campers will explore the science behind natural disasters and other demonstrations of nature’s powerful forces from typhoons to earthquakes and beyond. This week of exploration leads up the ultimate test: a simulated disaster, and only the MOST Response Team has what it takes to help!

Cost: Each one-day camp is $60 for members and $70 for nonmembers
