MOST Curriculum Project

The MOST Education Curriculum program is a series of curriculum specifically designed around the MOST’s exhibits and New York State Standards for the classroom. We are taking the most interesting parts of our exhibits and putting them into the educator’s hands to be used in their classroom, study hall, or after-school program.

The Curriculum program is designed around a three-tiered educational process: Prior to Visit, During the Visit and Post Visit. While the modules are created to work together each lesson does stand alone in the classroom. The special activities included in some lessons can be added to your lesson plans to enhance the hands-on learning of your students.
Currently, materials are availablefor Middle School level students in Earth Science and Life Science areas. The Life Science Middle School Module is made possible by a generous grant from the Dorothy and Marshall M. Reisman Foundation.
Our MOST Education Staff has worked hard to create this program, which is still in progress. Check back often as we continue to expand the program to represent all our fantastic exhibits.
