September TACNY Junior Café Scientifique
Saturday, September 20, 2014

9:30 - 11:00

TACNY Junior Café Scientifique features an informal discussion with a scientist, engineer or technologist every month during the school year. Talks are aimed at middle school students, who must be accompanied by a parent or adult. After the event, students and their parents are invited to tour the MOST's exhibits for free.

This month's topic is dark energy and features G. Scott Watson PhD, an assistant professor of Physics at Syracuse University's College of Arts and Sciences and an associate visiting professor at Cornell University.

Sponsored by the Technology Alliance of Central New York, the talks are 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology, 500 S. Franklin St., in Syracuses Armory Square. A light breakfast is served before the event. Please RSVP to jrcafe@tacny.org so TACNY knows how many people will be attending.
